What is the difference between white variable files and black ones

• The abrasive of white files consists of aluminum oxide, which makes them more ductile, soft and wear-resistant. Black files are made up of silicon carbide, which is why they are harder but have a high degree of brittleness.
• White files have a fine abrasive grain of a rounded shape, which allows you not to injure the nail plate. Black files have a sharp-shaped abrasive that self-sharpens during the filing process.
• White variable files have a stearate coating that prevents organic dust from clogging the coating, there is no coating in black files.
• White files cope better with the filing of a dry nail, black files work well with the filing of a wet nail.
• The white color of the file is more hygienic, black in operation, streaks or furrows are not visible on the file after filing, and light abrasive particles are not noticeable when they come into contact with artificial material during nail extension.
